How we measure interest and protect customer data
Florida Auto Center uses first-party analytics to understand vehicle interest on our own website. Advertising pixels are only activated when a visitor accepts marketing cookies.
Data we collect
This page describes the current website behavior. It is intended to be clear and practical, not hidden in legal language.
Essential
Consent preference and basic website functionality. These do not activate advertising pixels.
Analytics
Pseudonymous visitor and session IDs, pages and vehicles viewed, filters, photo views, CARFAX, calls, WhatsApp, and direction clicks on our site.
Marketing
Advertising pixels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, or Microsoft if configured and accepted. These may use platform cookies for conversion measurement.
How we use this data
We use first-party analytics to understand which vehicles, pages, and actions are useful to shoppers. If you submit a lead form, we may attach recent on-site activity, such as vehicles viewed or financing started, so our sales team can respond with better context.
We do not use our website cookies to monitor your browsing across unrelated third-party websites. We may receive campaign attribution such as UTM parameters, referrer, or ad click IDs when you arrive on our site from an ad or partner link.
Lead forms
When you submit a form, we collect the information you provide, such as name, phone, email, preferred contact method, financing details, consignment VIN/mileage, investor interest, or vehicle interest. This information is saved in our lead system and may include the page and campaign that generated the request.
Finance application data
A finance application may include date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license, residential history, housing payment, employment, income, requested down payment, vehicle interest, trade-in information, and your authorizations. This sensitive application is encrypted separately from the ordinary sales lead.
How financing information is shared
We use application data to verify identity and information, evaluate and arrange financing, prevent fraud, comply with law, and respond to you. When you authorize a credit application, we may share it with financing sources, credit reporting agencies, identity or fraud services, and vendors that securely support the transaction. We do not sell Social Security numbers or finance application data for targeted advertising.
Security and retention
Sensitive finance fields are encrypted at rest, excluded from advertising events and ordinary CRM messages, and limited to authorized use. Online applications are scheduled for deletion after 90 days unless a longer period is needed for a transaction, legal obligation, dispute, fraud prevention, or your request.
Advertising pixels and server-side conversions
Only with marketing consent and configured accounts, lead conversions may be sent to Meta. Contact fields may be hashed for matching; _fbp, _fbc, and the original ad-click time may be included when available. Analytics-only consent does not load Meta Pixel.
Your choices
Choose essentials, analytics only, or analytics and marketing. Advertising click IDs and Meta browser identifiers are retained only with marketing consent. You may change your choice here at any time.
